Not A Good Day

Hello.
I am not in a very good mood today. This day, (March 24), is the 25th anniversary of my mother's death, and it is still hard for me to face this day of the year, even though a quarter of a century has passed since she died. Today is also the 104th anniversary of her mother's birth. I still feel a deep sadness each year on this day, but I have learned to cope better with my feelings with each year that passes. A wise woman once told me something which has helped me through the years since my mom died. The lady told me that the pain of losing a loved one never grows any less intense; we just get more used to its being there. Those words have been proven true time and time again over the past 25 years. I have found a kind of comfort in them, which has made the passage of time more bearable. I hope that by posting all of this here, I can help others who have suffered a similar loss to better cope with their feelings of grief and be able to face the fear and pain which the death of a loved one inevitably brings. Thank you. Anna

Hello.
I'm sorry I haven't posted here for a few days, but I have been busy creating some new artwork, and Windows Paint is often a hard program in which to work. Any way, here is what I have accomplished in the last couple of days:

I hope everyone enjoys these couple of pictures. Regards, Anna
